Position Summary:     
Under supervision of senior engineering staff, the Design Engineer will design high 
current rectifiers. Develop and design to customer specifications utilizing past 
Neeltran products of similar complexity.  Improve and Optimize controls and PLC 

Coordinate release of documents, bill of materials, and engineering release with 
manufacturing, QC and Test departments. Monitor project progress status, update 
supervisor, and announce potential delays. 

Create, implement, and monitor complex project plans and schedule manufacturing 
projects, including engineering design schedules and critical parts and materials due 

Keep projects delivered on time and within budget. Support the customer during start 
up and normal operation when required.

The Design Engineer will be involved in all stages of the project from the time the 
order is placed, through the design, procurement, manufacturing, and test processes, 
to the time the product is shipped.  This position will provide Engineering Support, 
Customer Support, Production and Quality Support. 
Essential Functions:
Must be able to travel to factory floor multiple times per day to view units and 
designs in progress. 

This position requires a BSEE and a minimum of 3 years experience in related 
industry. Project management in the power electronics industry is a plus. AutoCAD 
Electrical knowledge is a plus.
